Georgia Southern University began originally as an agricultural school in 1906, and the became Georgia Teachers College in
1956. The first psychology class at the school was Educational Psychology.
In 1972 the Georgia Teachers College became Georgia Southern College, at this time one psychology class was offered in
the social sciences field.
